Dear list,
loading the MM configuration with a ABS camera gives an error message and the following log entry constantly: java.lang.Exception: Attempted to set "Core-Camera" to "ABSCam". Core property is read-only or the requested value is not allowed. in Thread[AWT-EventQueue-0,6,main] at mmcorej.MMCoreJJNI.CMMCore_setAutoFocusDevice(Native Method) at mmcorej.CMMCore.setAutoFocusDevice(CMMCore.java:432) at org.micromanager.utils.AutofocusManager.refresh(AutofocusManager.java:105) at org.micromanager.MMStudioMainFrame.updateGUI(MMStudioMainFrame.java:3332) at org.micromanager.MMStudioMainFrame$CoreEventCallback.onPropertiesChanged(MMStudioMainFrame.java:607) at mmcorej.MMCoreJJNI.SwigDirector_MMEventCallback_onPropertiesChanged(MMCoreJJNI.java:660) at mmcorej.MMCoreJJNI.CMMCore_loadSystemConfiguration(Native Method) at mmcorej.CMMCore.loadSystemConfiguration(CMMCore.java:192) at org.micromanager.MMStudioMainFrame.loadSystemConfiguration(MMStudioMainFrame.java:3675) Despite the error message the camera seems to be initialized and is working correctly. Do we have to worry about this message. The problem has been solved by the ABS team.
The UK1158 can be used now with problems with the http://valelab.ucsf.edu/~MM/nightlyBuilds/1.4/Windows/MMSetup64BIT_1.4.7_20111019.exe or http://valelab.ucsf.edu/~MM/nightlyBuilds/1.4/Windows/MMSetup32BIT_1.4.7_20111019.exe together with the latest camera driver, especially the USB dll's: "CamUSB_API_hal.dll" or "CamUSB_API64_hal.dll" (for 64bit OPs) with a version number >= 1.10.179.0. Thanks to the ABS team!
