I am trying to run a pixel calibration at 10x mag.
The Calibrator freezes at about 90% complete. (when it has the box in the upper right hand corner) I was able to successfully run a pixel calibration at 16x, 20x, and 40x mag. But neither 10x nor 5x will work. I do not get an error, the window just freezes. This is my process for using Pixel Calibrator: I focus the image, snap an image, set the contrast and then run the pixel calibrator. I did calculate both pixel sizes by hand, but Slide Explorer will not let me just use the value I have entered into the Pixel Calibration menu and specifically says: "The current magnification settings need to be calibrated" (Even though I have entered my own values in the pixel size calibration.) Is there a way around Slide Explorer needing to recalibrate every time? Or what am I doing wrong using Pixel Calibrator? Hi Frank,
You do need to run the Pixel Calibrator plugin to run the Slide Explorer (manual entry is not enough). There was a new bug (recently removed) that was causing the problem you are seeing, that the Pixel Calibrator wants to run every time. Please try the latest nightly build and see if that helps. Is there any idea as to why Pixel Calibrator would freeze in the middle of calibration?

Hi Frank,
Could you send us an automated Error Report? First, select "Tools > Options" and make sure Debug Logging is enabled. Then try to duplicate the problem and select "Help > Report Problem." Thanks again!
