Burst mode

russmgenet
Dear List,

I'm using a Roper/Photometrics Cascade 512B emCCD camera for low light level high speed astronomical observations and would like to operate the camera in the "Burst" mode mentioned in the Micro Manager video.  However, I don't see it as one of the options in the left hand side of the main screen.  How do I bring up the Burst mode?

Cheers, Russ

Re: Burst mode

Hi Russ,

The option for burst has been integrated into the multi-dimensional acquisition engine so if you take a look at some simple instructions on the user guide it should be straight forward. If you go to our website and look under Documentation>User's Guide>Fast Time Series Acquisition (Burst) you will find those instructions. Hope this helps.

Best,
Ziah

Hi Ziah,

Thanks ever so much.  That explains it.  Bust is now just part of MD Acquisition.
