Micro-Manager is open source software for microscope image acquisition. It is simple and intuitive to use, yet powerful in its abilities. Micro-Manager can be extended by everyone with programming experience, either by writing new device adapters, by writing plugins for advanced image acquisition strategies, or even by modifying the core of Micro-Manager.
