Prior xy stage

Thomas Gruber
Hi,

I have trouble with our Prior xy stage (Optiscan II controller). When calibrating the stage in the xy position list, it moves to the home position but then I get the following error message:

Error code: 22

XYStage. Error code 10102 (2776 hex).

In a previous post is mentioned that certain values of the stage (SAS, SCS & SMS) must be smaller than 100. I don't know if this important, but just to get sure, I've set the values to be lower than 100.
The controller is connected via USB. I've also tried to connect it via a UBS-RS232 adapter but there is no change in behaviour.

Following a part of the corelog:

DBG(2884, t:0360D400:) Device COM5 debug message:  Port: COM5.Read: R

Why do you want your stage to home?  The Prior controller will remember absolute position by itself, i.e., there is no need to use the "Home" functionality.

Best,

Nico

Re: Prior xy stage

Hi Nico,

I don't really need the calibrating function. I've just mentioned the "problem" by trying out the functions provided by MM.

Best,
Thomas
