Looking for help on installing Micro-Manager for a ProEM-HS:512BX3.
Per the website I've completely uninstalled PVCAM and then installed the latest PICAM drivers sent over from the Princeton Instruments rep. I've read through the Princeton Instruments wiki, the User's Manual and the Tutorial on the website but still can't figure out how to control this camera using MM.
Some specific issues are as follows:
1. First of all, can anyone confirm that MM will actually work with this camera? I've seen previous emails with people running a 512 bit ProEM with MM but I was unable to download the configuration file.
2.No way to enter port and baud rate. I've gone through the configuration wizard many times and there are only six steps. According to the Tutorial there should be nine steps, one of which allows you to select the port, baud rate, etc. There doesn't appear to be any place to enter this crucial information.
3.Which is the appropriate device? In the configuration wizard the most applicable Available Device appears to the "ProEM: 1024B - 1000000003:Demo". However this is for a 1024 resolution sensor whereas mine is 512. Is this the appropriate device to select? If so, I similarly can't figure out how to change the resolution and other specifics for my camera. In the Device Property Browser the X-dimension and Y-dimension, for instance, are both greyed out.
4. Needless to say I can't get the camera even to snap a single image. I don't get any error messages but the program freezes when I try a snap.
Despite reading through the MM support website and a bunch of emails on SourceForge I still feel like I'm missing some crucial step here. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm running Windows 10 64bit and have the camera connected through the RJ-45 connector on the motherboard. I have tried both the most recent stable and the nightly build of MM.
