we’ve noticed that the Total memory estimated in the Summary section of the MDA window doesn’t factor in when a channel is not being acquired as a z-stack (e.g. z-stack for fluorescence channels and a single ‘reference’ slice in brightfield).
Although not normally an issue, it becomes a problem when people are wanting to acquire large datasets and need to free up significantly more space than they actually need before they can start the acquisition.
Is it possible to fix this? Also, has anyone tried acquiring a reference dataset in parallel to the main MDA?
