ZEISS imager Z.2 - transmission light shutter issue

CAYLA Mathieu
Good evening,

I am trying to get the best of our microscope ZEISS imager Z.2, that was previously only controlled manually, using MM2 on windows10.
To do so, I am using the zeisscan29 library, from which i am almost able to detect everything from the the scope.
The only thing that fails is the transmission light shutter that is not detected.
That is quite inconvenient because each time the reflective light is used (shutter working fine), the transmission light is still present.

I tried then to setup the light voltage to 0 for each channel using the reflective light but it render everything very slow and not always working.
I also tried to de-activate the “light manager” and “dazzle protect” on the scope and it did not change anything.
I tried with MM1.4, just in case, and I have the same issue.

I know that the scope and the computer are communicating when I switch on/off the transmission light shutter as I got a response when listening to the com port.

Would you have any suggestion to help me resolve this issue ?
Thank you for your help.

Kind regards,
Mathieu

Can you start the Trouble Reporter (Help > Report a Problem), then go
through the Hardware Configuration Wizard, and send the report?  I'll
have a look and hopefully there is an easy fix.

Best,

Nico
