help on Zslice capture in Beanshell

cail@rocketmail
Dear All,

I follow the examples in http://valelab.ucsf.edu/~MM/MMwiki/index.php/Example_Beanshell_scripts
  and use gui.openAcquisition() and gui.snapAndAddImage() for the 5D capture.

It works not perfect for the ZSlice -
  open/close the shutter at each gui.snapAndAddImage() .
I like to have it:
  open shutter, Zslice capture, close shutter ; which is how MDA does it.

How should I do it? What is the best practice for Zslice capture?

Thanks a lot for your time.

Cheers,
Liang

Best way to open files for processing in ImageJ?

Cammer, Michael

Is there a package of plugins or macros for opening MM files and sorting them into stacks or hyperstacks?

In our lab users are beginning to use MM to collect tiles or multiple positions with multiple channels sometimes as Z series or  time series and I've been writing macros on an ad hoc basis per each user's experimental conditions but realize there must be a better way to do this.

Thanks!!
