voxel depth not saved

Sam Lord
I notice that the x-y pixel size is saved in the "properties" window, but not the voxel depth. When I open my z-stack data in uM, it doesn't remember the z-stack depth information. Is there a simple fix for this?

In Micro-Manager's Histogram panel, click on Metadata and look for an item called something like "z-step-um".  Will of course only be there if you actually acquired a z-stack.

Best,

Nico

Yes, that is helpful. But what I meant is that under Image->Properties, the pixel size is saved but not the voxel depth. I can of course change that for every image from the number in the metadata, but it would be nicer it it automatically saved.
